I was introduced to playing guitar when I was very young at the age of ten just around the same time the Beatles performed on Ed Sullivan. Since that time, I've been extremely passionate about creating music with a message ever since.

During my years of touring with bands and playing independently, I'm proud to note that I've had the pleasure of opening and playing with some of the greatest musician's of my generation. I suppose my greatest claim to fame was when I opened for the British rock band "The Who" in 1968 at the Earl Warren Faire Grounds in Santa Barbra, Ca with my band the Original Y.B. Blues Band. I currently play in a cover band called Stran0ger which I have been a member of for 24 years. I love that band. My passion of course is writing and performing music which I am also doing with my acoustic Trio called Brown*Johnson*Brown* who's members are my daughter Amy and my life friend and fellow muscian Steve Johnson. The theme here the aim is great 3 part harmonies.

My first CD I recorded and produced myself in 2001. It is titled "I'm Still Here" it is the life travels good and bad of a simple man who loves his family and his music. It is available through CDbaby.com under Lynn E. Brown. Enjoy.

Why a Children's CD?
First of all I love kids. I was a kid myself once and sometimes I return to that place, a warm summers evening while I slip into a quiet daydream and relive the times I had with my bother and friends. Times when we'd build fort’s, play marbles and baseball.
I remember the first time I was tempted to play music. We lived in Southern California, In San Bernardino. It was the year of my eighth summer and my oldest sister Sharron had a boyfriend from Hawaii named Lucky Pang. You might ask me why I remember his name. He was dating my sister I think, but was also showing her how to play Ukulele. Ukulele is a very beautiful sounding accompanying instrument. Long story short Ukulele became my first instrument. I learned several songs that summer. Kids seem to absorb music and make it part of them. Kids are so adaptive and soak it up. My wife Debbie teaches. I had been lucky enough while she was teaching 2nd grade to sing for her students. That was all I needed. I was hooked. I had already started to write the CD when after discussing the project with her maybe after the CD was out I would work on my new CD music aimed at life's ups & downs. So I hope that explains a little about me for you. I hope you buy the CD and tell someone else how much you enjoyed it, and I know you will. So they might also share the fun with their children and family. God bless the children. Enjoy the music whatever it might be and get your kids involved. You’ll love the first time you hear them sing or play something for you for the first time.

Peace,
Lynn E. Brown
